Position title : Web Developer - Java

Reports to	Sr. Web Developer.
Basic function	You will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several Web projects with minimal assistance. You should know how to build a JSP, JSF web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code.
Duties and responsibilities	Develop web based applications. Structure web applications search engine friendly. Optimize and maintain existing source codes.
Competency required for the position	Good understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles. Comprehensive understanding of Java (JSP, Struts) programming language. Advanced understanding of Oracle database (developer fundamentals). Knowledge of HTML & JavaScript. Knowledge of UNIX operating system (primarily Linux) and Apache would be desirable.
Educational requirements	B.E / B. Tech / MCA
