It was the second year of the fe Women in Business Awards. Presented by the State Bank of India, these awards were held in Mumbai on the 18th of March 2006. Hon’ble Finance Minister, Mr. P. Chidambaram was present to make it a special occasion. He gave away the awards to the winners. After receiving more than 70 nominations across 4 categories of awards, the final winners were decided by a distinguished panel of jury. This year’s winners included Dr. Amrita Patel for Lifetime Achievement, Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai for Best Professional, Dr. Pratiksha Namjoshi for Best Entrepreneur and Ms. Meher Pudumjee for the Young Achiever categories.
