Fiscal 1997-98 kicks off on a dull note

[Details] The fiscal year 1997-98 began with a very low resource mobilisation from the primary capital market. According to Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), there were just 19 public issues in April 1997 which collectively raised Rs 208 crore as against 105 issues in April 1996 which raised Rs 528 crore.
