Foresight Financial off Satellite dealers list

[Details] The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has struck off Foresight Financial Services Ltd from the shortlist of satellite dealers. The Chennai-based financial services company merged with Excel Finance and a new company, MCC Finance, was formed. The apex bank has now directed the finance firm to submit a fresh application for sattelite dealership.

Mahindra Ford revs up, sets sights on greater market share

[Details] Mahindra Ford, a 50:50 joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra and Ford Motors Company, hopes to sell over 12,000 cars in the current financial year. The company reportedly has sold over 5,000 cars since its launch in October, 1996.

Max Touch offers 50 per cent cut in mobile-to-mobile tariff

[Details] Max Touch, Mumbai's largest cellular network, will now offer a 50% discount on cellular-to-cellular calls. The concession is applicable to subscribers who opt for the new tariff plan announced by the network and is available for calls originating and terminating on the Max Touch network.
