Cabinet shortlists 3 PSUs for divestment

[Details] The Union Cabinet is all set to approve disinvestment of three PSUs from a list of 15. Though names have not been made public they are likely to be Gas Authority of India Limited, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited and Indian Oil Corporation.

NDDB wants co-ops to be registered under Companies Act

[Details] The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has requested the Centre to allow large cooperative societies to be registered under the Companies Act as cooperative companies.
