Harrisons Malayalam cuts payout to 20%

Harrisons Malayalam has reported a lower profit after tax of Rs 6.06 crore for 1996-97 against Rs 8.41 crore in 1995-96. The company's board has proposed a dividend of 20%.

ADB arm picks up 10 pc stake in DCM Financial

The Asian Development Bank's (ADB) subsidiary, Asian Finance Investment Corporation (AFIC), has picked up 9.9% stake in DCM Financial Services. The financial arm of the Vivek Bharat Ram-owned DCM group, has placed 18.7 lakh shares at par with AFIC, generating an inflow of Rs 1.87 crore.
