GSFC to hive off bio-fertiliser, tissue culture divisions

[Details] Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC) plans to hive off its bio-fertiliser and tissue culture divisions from its core business of chemical fertilisers and petrochemicals in lieu of its inability to concentrate on this activity which required more technical and research oriented inputs.

Ashok Leyland net up 10.5% to Rs 125-cr

[Details] Despite a 25% drop in commercial vehicle sales in the first quarter of the current year, a revival in demand is expected from September, according to Ashok Leyland Ltd's (ALL) vice chairman and managing director R J Shahaney. The company saw its bottomline rise by just over 10% in the last fiscal.
