Centre to mop up Rs 5,000 crore via 4-year bond auction

[Details] The government will raise Rs 5,000 crore via four year bonds on Monday, according to the Reserve Bank of India. With this, the government will complete 84% of its targeted market borrowing for this fiscal.

Depository participants slash custody fees

[Details] Four depository participants -- Global Trust Bank, Action Financial Services Ltd, Geojit Securities and Dayco Securities Ltd -- have decided not to charge any custody charge from investors in respect of dematerialised holdings of Infosys Technologies. They have decided to pass on the benefits of they not being charged any custody charge by the National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL), to investors.
