Ministries agree on risk sharing for liquid fuel supply

[Details] The power and petroleum ministries yesterday came to an agreement on the vexed issues of commitment charges and liquidated damages in the fuel supply agreement for the liquid fuel based power plants.

Threshold limit for NBFCs may be raised to Rs 50 lakh

[Details] The Centre is likely to hike the threshold limit for non-banking finance companies (NBFCs) to Rs 50 lakh from the earlier Rs 25 lakh. An indication to this effect was given by Union finance minister P Chidambaram while replying to a question of CRB scam in the Rajya Sabha yesterday.
