Jet Airways receives first Boeing, five more on way

Jet Airways has received the first of the six Boeing 737-400 aircraft. The aircraft, which will be inducted in the fleet by October, was flown from Boeing's manufacturing base at Seattle earlier this week to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Mahindras may have to export Voyager

The slowdown in the domestic auto market may force Mahindra & Mahindra to export Voyager, the utility vehicle it plans to launch by December with technical support from Mitsubishi of Japan, from as early as April next fiscal.

HEC ties up with Russian, Ukrainian firms

Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), the Ranchi-based public sector outfit, is banking on a series of new tie-ups with Russian and Ukrainian companies to improve its lean order book position. At present, it has orders worth only Rs 190 crore in hand, but expects to break even in the current financial year.
