Coopers & Lybrand to aid IndusInd restructuring

[Details] Indusind Bank has roped in international consultancy firm Coopers & Lybrand International to put in place a comprehensive programme of restructuring to strengthen its competitiveness as an international bank. The restructuring exercise is to assist the bank in the formulation of its business strategy and in the redesigning of its organisational structure.

Escorts Yamaha to set up scooter plant in Gurgaon

[Details] Escorts Yamaha Motor Co, the 50:50 joint venture between Escorts and Japan's Yamaha Motor Company (YMC), has selected Gurgaon in Haryana for setting up its scooter manufacturing facility. The estimated investment is around Rs 500 crore.
