Telecom body up in arms against DoT corporatisation move
The Indian Telecom Service Association (ITSA) comprising over 3,000 Group A officers of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is opposed to the proposed corporatisation move. However, it is in favour of a "positive restructuring" of the department.

Pipavav port plans to retire debt by sourcing ECB funds
The Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd has decided to opt for external commercial borrowings (ECBs) route to retire most of its highcost debt. The port has made arrangements to source funds to the tune of Rs 200 crore from a Japanese institution for this purpose.
