[Details] As women enter the job stream traditionally meant for men, it's logical to expect that the wage gap between the genders would narrow, writes the BusinessWeek. And since the 1970s, that has been the case. Recently, however, the US Labor Department reported that women's median weekly wages, which had risen from 62% of men's wages in 1979 to 77% in 1992, have since slipped back to 75%.
