Artificially coloured food may cause ailments
Most foods wouldn't be half as attractive, but for the colours they come in. While many are naturally endowed, others need to be dressed up artificially. Though natural colours are generally safe, artificial colours are not. Improperly derived, wrongly constituted or indiscriminately used artificial colouring additives are known to cause anaemia, sterility, paralysis, brain lesions and subcutaneous infections.

Fellowship for road study in US
The Indian Roads and Transport Development Association (IRTDA) has announced that the International Road Board of Directors, Washington, has offered to India a fellowship carrying a grant of $14,000 for use by a qualified nominee selected by IRTDA for the 1998-99 academic year.
