[Details] The entrepreneurial bug has bitten engineers and architects, who have traditionally epitomised the professional class in the country. Gone are the days when semi-educated and unqualified people were the only ones in the real estate business. Today, a number of professionals like engineers and architects are entering the business as entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs latch on to the PR bandwagon

[Details] Vox populi vox dei -- the voice of the people is the voice of God. And, who sets the tune for the voice of people in modern times -- Public Relations (PR), of course. As Michael Naumann, former senior editor of Der Spiegel remarked, "The PR skeletons lie in democracy's closet." In today's scenario, companies are under attack from consumers, environmental lobbies and activist groups.

[Details] Major Raj Sahai (retired) wanted name, fame and money in his lifetime. This was one of the reasons which prompted him to take voluntary retirement from the Army in 1991, where he served 11 long years, and set up a fabric export house in Calcutta. Recalling those days, Sahai says, "I was very excited as I had finally got the opportunity of creating and developing an organisation which would finally become a part of the over-all national development."
