Lakshmi Machine Works net dips 28% to Rs 16 crore

[Details] Textile-machinery major Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) Ltd and group company Textool Company Ltd (Textool) have reported low sales turnover for the first half of the current year and a reduction in production levels. Lakshmi Machine Works used 55% of its capacity, while Textool employed 60%, compared with the average 65% and 85% respectively for the last full-year.

Reliance Petroleum in talks with oil firms for marketing pact

[Details] Reliance Petroleum Ltd (RPL) is negotiating with domestic oil companies for marketing some of its products. Product-integration with different group companies will ensure an offtake of around 30% of the 15-million- tonne refinery capacity. This leaves about 10-11 million tonnes of capacity which the company has to tie up with oil public sector units for marketing.

Lever files citations on insider-trading charges

[Details] Hindustan Lever has filed all its citations to the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) related to the insider trading case. SEBI's verdict is now awaited. It is believed that SEBI will take some time to process the Lever reply. According to Lever sources, the citations were submitted right after the time extension HLL had sought from the regulator.
