UTI children fund rakes in Rs 130 cr before suspension

[Details] The Children's College and Career Growth Fund (CCCGF) from the Unit Trust of India witnessed heavy inflows before suspension of fresh sale of units on November 1. In the current year (beginning July 1), the scheme attracted heavy subscription, to the tune of Rs 130 crore in the first four months.

Magadh SE infighting continues, AGM cancelled

[Details] The Magadh Stock Exchange, riven by infighting, failed to hold its much-awaited annual general meeting on Wednesday after the president declared as "illegal" an earlier meeting at which the November 12 date had been set. The Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has served a notice on the bourse's council of management asking it to show why it should not be superseded following complaints about an administrative breakdown, infighting and anarchy.
