Aircraft being shown in Dubai for the first time include Sukhoi's thrust-vectoring SU-37, Airbus Industrie's new A330-200, Boeing's 777-300 and Antonov 74TK convertible transporter.

Chennai cable operators to merge control room network In a move to ward off takeover threats, cable operators in the Chennai have come together to form a company to set up a common control room. The common control room will be the single point of receiving satellite signals which would be transmitted to all areas in the city. The move proposed by multi-system operators (MSOs) would convenience both the cable operators and the subscribers.
