BSE may kick off warehouse trading on December 8

[Details] The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is likely to begin warehousing of institutional trades on December 8. The bourse has amended the BOLT net software to ensure compliance with the conditions stipulated by the Securities & Exchange Board of India on the implementation of warehousing of trades by institutional clients.

Reliance Industries commissions second PTA plant at Hazira

[Details] Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has commissioned its second 350,000 tonnes per annum PTA plant at Hazira petrochemicals complex, incorporating technology from the UK-based ICI. RIL had commissioned its first 350,000 tonnes PTA plant at Hazira last January. With this, RIL's total PTA capacity reaches one million tonnes placing it among the top five PTA producers in the world.
