"Internet must be subsidised in Andhra Pradesh"
The state chief minister's adviser TH Choudary, speaking on IT vision 2020-Andra Pradesh at the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers (IETE), Pune centre, said that the internet should be subsidised in Andhra Pradesh to make it a cyber state. He further reiterated that information is the most important tool for survival.

Chamber seeks higher abatement on soft drinks' maximum retail price
The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) has suggested in its proposal for the next budget that aerated soft drinks manufacturers should be allowed higher abatement on maximum retail price (MRP) for the purpose of calculating central excise. Currently, the government levies 40% duty on the 50% of the declared MRP of the soft drink.
