NEW DELHI, February 4: Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) has registered a 8 per cent growth in ore production to 11.70 lakh tonne during October-December 1997, as compared with the corresponding period in the previous year.

Production of ore milling and metal concentrate during this period was 11.51 lakh tonne and 10,441 tonne respectively. This represents a growth of 1.5 per cent and 3.4 per cent respectively, compared with the same period in 1996.
