KOCHI, Feb 4: Tension mounts at the National Thermal Power Corporation's (NTPC) thermal power project site at Kayamkulam where construction work is grinding to a halt, following the alleged intimidatory tactics employed by a section of the workers who are on strike. Work at the crucial main plant site of the long-delayed NTPC project has already come to a total halt.The work stoppage comes at a very critical stage of the construction activities, as fabrication and erection works were all set to take off. NTPC has dubbed it as a law and order issue. Unruly mobs have been intimidating construction workers, employed by sub-contractors Larsen & Toubro.
