Web sites require regular maintenance
Everything man-made requires maintenance, including web sites. But in our glorious Indian tradition of tearing down and building afresh, we seldom pay attention to this aspect of web development. Both web developers and clients are equally to blame, the one for their build and forget policy and the other for their reluctance to spend a modest amount every month to ensure that their site is running fine.

File PIL if builder-promoter plays truant
If the promoters, despite reminders, have failed to render proper accounts for the amounts received by them from the flat owners, then the owners certainly have a right to approach the courts of law by filing a public interest petition and pray that the building promoters be directed to render accounts for the sums received and make available the books of accounts for scrutiny by a firm of auditors that may be appointed by the association of flat buyers.

MNCs vie for a place on the moon
Several major multinational companies, including leading hotel chain Hilton International, have joined the race to build the first hotel on the moon. Three big Japanese consortiums -- Shimizu, Nishimatu and Obyashi -- have already spent a staggering 25 million pounds sterling in plans to build on the moon extensive leisure projects, including inflatable buildings, tennis courts, golf courses and housing colonies.
