HLL transfers Nihar ad account to SSC&B Lintas
Hindustan Lever (HLL) has moved the advertising account of its coconut hair-oil brand Nihar to SSC&B Lintas from Ammirati Puris Lintas, the Lintas offshoot. The shift in account took place in May this year. The account was shifted as Nihar failed to grab a substantial market share, despite massive expenditure on advertising during its relaunch.
Carlson Hospitality allowed to acquire 26% stake in Country Development
The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has given the green signal to US-based hotel major Carlson Hospitality to acquire 26% equity stake in the Shiv Jatia-promoted Country Development & Management Services Pvt Ltd.
FIPB approves sale of HLL's holding in Indo Nissin Foods
The Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) has cleared the proposal of Nissin Food Products of Japan to buy out 40% share holding of Hindustan Lever Ltd in Indo Nissin Foods Ltd. FIPB gave its nod to Indo Nissin Foods case on the ground that it was a simple case of increase in equity participation by foreign partner which was duly supported by a board resolution of the Indian company.
