ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards to go in for preferential allotment
ITC Bhadrachalam Paperboards Ltd, will go in for a preferential allotment to its parent company ITC Ltd, to part-finance the proposed expansion programme. In a statement to the Hyderabad Stock Exchange (HSE), the board which met in Calcutta on Friday said it will offer 1,91,20,000 equity shares to ITC and other subsidiaries on a preferential basis.
SEBI finalises brochure on investor education
The Sebi-appointed committee on investor education, which met on Friday, has finalised a brochure to be circulated among the investors. The market regulator will also ask corporates to carry the brochure in their annual report which is sent to the shareholders.
Madras Cements scrip recovers lost ground; shoots up 36%
The Madras Cements counter which headed southwards in anticipation of poor results has more or less covered lost ground after the results have been made public. From Rs 4200 levels at the National Stock Exchange in the begining of the week the scrip dipped to a low of Rs 2830 on Tuesday after the announcement of the results.
