IDBI set to launch Rs 1500 cr retail debt issue next month
The Industrial Developmemt Bank of India (IDBI) is set to enter the capital market with a mega Rs 1,000-1,500 crore debt issue (Flexibond 4) next month. This will be IDBI's maiden retail issue in the current fiscal.

Speculation contributes to liquidity of bourse
At the Indian Commodity Exchanges, where futures trading is currently ongoing, half of the trade is estimated to be speculative, half of which is conducted by daytraders or what the international trading community calls as the "scalpers" (daytraders buy and sell during the same day, trying not to keep any positions overnight).

Board plans to promote domestic tea logos
The Tea Board, as part of its international campaign to step up value-added exports, is working out a plan to promote logos of Indian teas. This is all the more important in the context of a likely fall in exports owing to increased competition from Kenya and Sri Lanka.
