Microsoft India to develop MS Press products under MSDN umbrella
Microsoft Corporation India plans to develop the MS Press-related products under the Microsoft Developers Network as well. According to MSDN manager (Indian subcontinent region) Daniel Ingitaraj, the network will continue to be a product with MS Press acting as a support mechanism.
ICICI working on revival package for Eastern Coalfields
The Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India (ICICI) is preparing a complete revival package for the Eastern Coalfields (ECL), which recently escaped being declared sick for the second time. The loss-making subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL) was first referred to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) in November 1995, after half its net worth was eroded.
BPL Mobile places Rs 300cr bonds with IDBI to tie up funds
BPL Mobile, one of the cellular service providers in Mumbai, has achieved financial closure by placing infrastructure bonds worth Rs 300 crore with the Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). The bonds will work out to about 13.5% and will have a five-year tenor and the repayment will start after a two-year moratorium.
