Pepsi H1 export turnover jumps 100% to Rs 200 cr
Pepsi has registered a growth of over 100% in its exports in the first six months of 1998 compared with the corresponding period in the previous year. The export turnover has shot up to over Rs 200 crore in the first half of 1998. Pepsi's annual exports this year are likely to exceed Rs 400 crore.

Oil exploration and production giant Royal Dutch/Shell now has a new arm called Shell Technology Ventures (STV), which will work together with its service industry partners to develop and market Shell "proprietary technologies."

Mysore Coffee defers plan to set up UK arm
Mysore Coffee Curing Works has put its plans to float a wholly-owned subsidiary in the UK on hold. The Rs 80-crore Mysore-based coffee exporting company has also decided to postpone its investment proposals for setting up additional cup tasting facilities in the country. In turn, it will upgrade existing centres to maintain the quality of coffee exports.
