Linc Pen launches Bensia Glo: The Calcutta-based Linc Pen & Plastics Ltd has launched the Bensia Glo ball pen in collaboration with Bensia of Taiwan. The key feature of the pen is that it glows in the dark. This is caused by a fluorescent material which absorbs any form of light. The product, priced at Rs 10, is aimed atthe yuppies. It is refillable and available in a two piece blister-card pack.

Corn Products' mixed vegetable soups: Corn Products Company has added a new flavour to its existing Knorr range of instant soups -- Knorr Mixed Vegetable Soup. With this the total number of variants under the Knorr brand has gone up to 12. The new variant is a thick and creamy soup mix containing pieces of carrot, cabbage, capsicum, spring onion, potato and kasuri methi. Priced at Rs 23 for every 750 ml, Knorr mixed vegetable soup is also available in consumer packs of four to five servings and is available across the country. Other flavours under the Knorr soups brand name include thick tomato, thick Chicken, sweet corn vegetable, cream of palak, rasam soup, curried vegetable, hot and sour vegetable, hot and sour chicken and mulligaatwny soup.

Red Tape introduces new shoe brands in city: The Rs 200-crore shoe expoerter Mirza Tanners Ltd has launched the Red Tape and Oakridge brands of shoes in Mumbai. Prior tothis the company had launched the brands in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Australia, in conjunction with MCF Trading Ltd of UK. The Red Tape range of shoes is targeted at youngsters in the 16 years to 22 years age bracket. Accordingly the range has shoes and boots with a trendy and rugged look. The Red Tape range is priced between Rs 1,700 to Rs 2,000. On the other hand the Oakridge range consists of formal, semi-formal, leisure and casual styles of fashion shoes. Targeted at men in the 30 years and above age group, the shoes are available in a choice of three colours - black, brown and tan - with prices varying from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000.
