Hindustan Antibiotics plans to lease its gentamycin units
The ailing public-sector Hindustan Antibiotics is looking out for a lease arrangement for its gentamycin facilities. The company is on the lookout for an arrangement similar to its proposed tie-up with Searle, the RPG group company, to whom it is expected to lease out its fermenters for vitamin B12 and vitamin B2 production.
Bridgestone faces A$25.8m tax claim
Tyre manufacturer Bridgestone Australia Ltd said on Tuesday it had been served with a A$25.8 million backdated tax claim. The company, which is about 60% owned by Japan's Bridgestone Corp said it considered it had no case to answer and did not intend to make a provision against profits.
RPG group shortlists 3 banks to arrange foreign debt for Dholpur power project
The RPG group has shortlisted Commerz Bank, Dresdner Bank and Banque Paribas to arrange the foreign debt portion for the Rs 2,350-crore Dholpur power project being set up by it in Rajasthan.
