Lakme Lever to relauch premium Orchid range next year
Unilever Plc, the Anglo-Dutch multinational, is set to make its first hands-on changes in the product range of Lakme Lever, the former joint venture in which Indian associate Hindustan Lever recently bought full stake. Lakme Lever is giving its premium colour cosmetic range "Orchid" a face-lift in early 1999, with the backing of parent company Unilever Plc.

The Maharashtra government is likely to revive the Rs 10,000-crore multi-modal hub and satellite freight city project in Nagpur. Although details are still being worked out, public works department (PWD) minister Nitin Gadkari has been holding talks with various groups in Nagpur to assess the project's feasibility.
