Support to Unit Trust is must
The current US-64 crisis is the price someone has to pay for important and commendable work done by UTI to support and stabilise the capital markets at times of need.
Tackling the malaise of dishonoured cheques
In most metropolitan cities in this country where civil legal action could span two decades or more before a meaningful result is attained, or a private criminal complaint is finally concluded in just under that period, there would be very little reason to be pleased with legislation.
Steps for revival
Samvat 2055 has started off badly. Rumours of Telco posting a substantial loss in the second quarter pulled down the market by 89 points on Tuesday. The nervousness caused by the UTI imbroglio, and the large sales pressed by foreign institutional investors have led to an evaporation of confidence in the market.
