Bangalore, Oct 27: Sonata Software Ltd plans to put 25 lakh shares on the block for its initial public offering. The float, planned for next month subject to Sebi's approval, will be at a premium of Rs 60 to Rs 80, company president and managing director B Ramaswamy told reporters while announcing the company's results for the half year ended September 30, 1998.
For the six month period, Sonata's revenues from the export front grew to 54 per cent, against 43 per cent in the last fiscal. Earnings per share annualised for the six-month period rose to 20.67 from 17.17. Return on net worth touched 52 per cent (43 per cent). Sales rose to Rs 54 crore (Rs 84.6 crore last fiscal).
