BoI, HDFC hit new lows as bears target bank, infrastructure
The market continued to be range bound amidst thin volumes. The BSE-30 share Sensitive index, which moved in the band of 2,809.01 points and 2,831.72 points, the intra-day's low and high respectively, closed at 2,812.06 points, registering a meagre gain of 0.62 points.
Kothari IT fund sees Rs 1.2cr inflow
The Kothari Pioneer Infotech Fund, India's first Infotech fund floated by Kothari Pioneer Mutual fund, has seen it net asset value rise to Rs 10.13 as on October 31, from Rs 9.70 on inception. The scheme has attracted a further Rs 1.2 crore after reopening on September 14.
Bullish signs emerge in select scrips
It was another day of narrow movements except for HLL. However, the fact that the day's low for the Sensex was 35 points above the previous low is quite significant.
