Centre firm on offloading 40 lakh tonnes rice
The Centre is firm on its decision to offload 40 lakh tonnes of rice from the central pool for its open market sales through state agencies, even though the rice procurement by the central agencies is yet to gain momentum in the current kharif marketing season.
