New cotton year may end with high stocks
For the new cotton year, started with October 1998, the Cotton Advisory Board (CAB) has placed its first estimate of India's raw cotton crop at 168.75 lakh bales. The trade estimates also pegged the figure between 165-168 lakh bales.
