Skindia GDR Index rises a whisker to 591 points
The Skindia GDR Index continued to be rangebound amidst lacklustre trading and thin volumes to finally close at 590.96 points on November 19, registering a net gain of 0.59% over the previous week's close.
Carryforward rates rule steady at 15% on Bombay Stock Exchange
Carryforward rates on the BSE stabilised in the band of 14.8% to 15.4% on an average for the week ended November 20, 1998. Market sources said that the badla rates fluctuated in the band of 13.5% to 16.25% in the initial phase of the trading session.
Groundnut oil remains steady; silver weakens
Groundnut oil maintained at the reduced level on the oil,oilseeds market here today. Castorseed and its oil on the other hand came under fresh pressure on the back of rising new crop supplies in the producing centres.
