Khurana on the backfoot, blames opposition for patents bill
The controversy over the patents bill took a new turn on Friday with parliamentary affairs minister Madan Lal Khurana expressing regret over "unintentionally" bringing in the president's name in the matter.
Move on cards to allow processing sector to import capital goods
The textiles ministry has mooted a proposal to permit the processing sector to import capital goods -- both new as well as old -- of a cost, insurance and freight (CIF) value ranging from Rs 3 crore to Rs 5 crore under the Export Promotion Capital Goods Scheme.
