RBI mops up Rs 30 cr at four-day repos: The RBI on Saturday mopped up Rs 30 crore through four-day 8 per cent fixed-rate repos for parties holding SGL and current accounts. The central bank received only one application and accepted it.Four finance firms' registration pleas rejected: The Reserve Bank of India has rejected the applications for registration submitted by DNS Finance and Investment and Chennai-based Manuelsons Investment and Leasing. The RBI has also rejected the applications for registration submitted by Lucknow-based Malti Finance and Leasing and New-Delhi based Hindustan Financial Management. "As such, the above companies cannot transact the business of non-banking financial institutions as defined in the RBI Act, 1934," a Reserve Bank of India release issued recently stated.
Cubex, Ravileela Financial registration pleas rejected: The Reserve Bank of India has rejected the application for certificate of registration submitted by Cubex Securities Ltd and RavileelaFinancial Services Ltd.
Sanmac Motor Finance registration plea spiked: The Reserve Bank of India has rejected the application for certificate of registration submitted by Sanmac Motor Finance Ltd, a non-banking finance company, which has a registered office at Chennai.
Allianz Securities registration plea turned down: The Reserve Bank of India has rejected the application for certificate of registration submitted by Allianz Securities. "As such the company will not be able to transact the business of a non-banking financial institution as defined in Clause (A) of Section 45I of Reserve Bank of India Act 1934," a Reserve Bank of India release issued recently stated.
