Ind Auto powers into Telco, Maruti turf; cuts Uno diesel price by a lakh
Ind Auto, the manufacturer of the Uno, on Friday joined the price-war in the small-car segment. The company has slashed the prices of its diesel versions by over Rs 1 lakh while the cut in the petrol version has been in the range of Rs 30,000-50,000.
Hyundai hits the pedal; plans to roll out Santro's LPG version
Hyundai Motor India is ready to roll out an LPG version of Santro once the Centre lifts its ban on the use of the product as an automobile fuel. According to director, marketing and sales, BVR Subbu, Hyundai Motor has the infrastructure for the purpose, and only awaits the Government's approval.
Hindujas cable network bags ISP licence
The department of telecommunications (DoT) has granted an Internet service provider (ISP) licence to the Hinduja group's cable network, IN Network, for providing Internet access to subscribers over its cable TV network in Mumbai and Delhi.
