Funds keen to kickstart stock lending
The effective launch of the stock lending operations on Wednesday has opened the floodgates for mutual funds. Fund managers see a fresh opportunity in stock lending to shore up their earnings.
UTI Monthly Income Plan tenure increased with double-money tag
The latest in the UTI's MIP series, MIP '98 (V) has closed with a subscription of around Rs 800 crore. MIP '98(V) was the last in the series of monthly income plans for calendar year 1998. Thus, the Trust has mobilised a total of over Rs 4,300 crore through five MIPs in 1998.
