Telco to retire short-term loans from Indica booking mop-up
Tata Engineering & Locomotive Co (Telco), which is retaining around Rs 1,400 crore it received from the first round of Indica bookings, has decided to utilise the amount in retiring its entire short-term debt liability of close to Rs 1,150 crore.
Maruti turnover may drop 7% despite price cut
Despite the major price cuts and sales promotion initiatives taken during the current fiscal, Maruti Udyog has projected to close the year with a 7% drop in turnover.
DoT defers encashment of four firms guarantees
The Department of Telecom has deferred encashing bank gurantees of the four errant companies -- Essar commvision, Tata Teleservices, Hughes Ispat and Birla AT and T -- till the Delhi High court resumes further hearing.
