Cabinet caps foreign stake in insurance at 26%
The Union cabinet has decided to to limit foreign participation at 26% from the level of 40% mentioned in the Insurance Regulatory Authority Bill.

The income-tax tribunal has allowed Tata Chemicals to claim full deduction of Rs 86.42 crore, paid as interest for assessment year 1992-93. The total claims with the tax department is of Rs 350 crore.
