Centre blocks funds to fraudulent NGOs
Skeletons are tumbling out of the cupboards of the social justice and empowerment ministry. Following some complaints, the ministry has been checking the antecedents of several NGOs, which were given funds by the ministry.

Government sets up committees on drug price control, research & development
The Government has announced the constitution of a 11-member committee to review the current drug price control mechanism and to suggest alternative models, if any, to reduce the rigours of price control.
