Late buying fuels Sensex rise above 3700 level
Share prices bounced back on Monday as speculators and institutional players re-entered the market towards the close of trading. The Sensex closed 40.55 points higher at 3713.18, after witnessing some selling pressure in late afternoon trading.
Crisil reaffirms GE Shipping debt plans
Crisil has reaffirmed the ratings for three debt instruments of the Great Eastern Shipping Company (GESCO). The rating agency said that the `AAA' rating for the Rs 16-cr and the Rs 100-cr non-convertible debenture (NCD) programmes of the company have been reaffirmed alongwith the `FAA' rating for its fixed deposit programme.
Revision in IPO norm paves way for Noida Toll Bridge public issue
The Securities and Exchange Board of India has finally cleared the decks for Noida Toll Bridge's Rs 100-crore public issue. With the Sebi board revising entry norms for infrastructure projects at its recent meeting, Nodia Toll Bridge's draft prospectus is likely to be cleared soon.
