SC bar to hit Maruti, M&M and HM hard
The automobile industry, especially the largest car manufacturer Maruti Udyog, suffered a major jolt with the Supreme Court banning registration of non-commercial vehicles not adhering to the Euro-II emission norms from April 1, 2000, in the national capital region.

VSNL net spurts 38% to Rs 1,341 cr
Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) has posted a 38.58% jump in net profit to Rs 1,341.29 crore on a total revenue of Rs 7,189.55 crore, a gain of 11.71% over last year.
