Home secretary BP Singh shunted to health ministry
In a countdown to the general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led coalition government on Monday transferred union home secretary BP Singh along with 10 other senior officials.

India has decided not to press for setting up of a dispute settlement panel (DSP) at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on rice exports issue since the European Commission (EC) has withdrawn the controversial cumulative recovery system (CRS) from December.
