In an innovative tack, `Number One', the upcoming shopping mall in Calcutta, has decided to become the first retail establishment to adopt ``excitement'' as its USP.

Delhi-based Licensing Plus -- a joint-venture between Australia-based Lee Walsh Licensing Pty Ltd and Exsim India Pvt Ltd -- will be introducing two new US-based brands: Pipeline and Hang Ten.

Michael Crouch looked into his company's future about five years ago and saw empty warehouses. As chairman of closely held Zip Heaters (Aust) Pty. Ltd., Crouch zapped the idea of keeping warehouses full of Zip instant water heaters for hot drinks.
