Sebi may make audit panels compulsory for companies
Market regulator SEBI is planning to make it mandatory for companies to appoint audit committees. Greater transparency in accounting policies and submission of a corporate governance code compliance report to shareholders are some of the other measures which the regulator would outline shortly.
Sebi to to issue directive on par value
SEBI has received the approval from the Department of Company Affairs (DCA) to issue directives changing the fixed Rs 10 and Rs 100 par value of a share concept.
