Pakistan economy will collapse if Kargil situations escalates, says Sinha
Finance minister Yashwant Sinha has said that Pakistan "cannot sustain the cost of conflict and will go bankrupt" in the event of any escalation of the Kargil crisis.

Bin Laden hand in Kargil intrusion, says report
Osama bin Laden is working closely with the Pakistani government in pushing the intrusion into Kargil, according to Western intelligence reports quoted here.

`Kargil will have no impact on reforms'
India has assured the German business and industry that the hostilities in Kashmir will not hurt the country's economic environment and sought larger investment flows in infrastructure, food processing and chemicals sectors.
